I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. However, this depends on the date you are flying so please check with the full flight schedule above to. The earliest flight departs at 07:05, the last flight departs at 16:15. Departure times vary between 07:05 - 16:15. My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. Flights from LCY to FLR are operated 13 times a week, with an average of 2 flights per day. When I went to check my bag the woman was very rude and asked me "why do I think I can check two bags?" and questioned my Star Alliance premium silver status, demanding I show her my card (I have no card).
